In September & October 2019 Ellie completed an international artist in residence “Pass the Baton!” with Run Tomo: a relay running race with people living with dementia and their carers in Japan, a project set up by the Dementia Friendship Club. You can watch the Run Tomo film by clicking HERE
Ellie traveled across Japan to experience the project with the various towns & cities, inviting participants to document their shared experiences whilst running together: from the smiles and sweaty brows to the bright orange t-shirts & decorations across the streets.
