Ellie Robinson-Carter is a Creative Dementia Practitioner & Researcher based in Falmouth, UK. Ellie devises creative frameworks & invites individuals to take ownership of them, fostering their authorial voices & personal narratives. Working locally, nationally & internationally Ellie specialises in working with people living with dementia & their carers, using creative practice to nurture individual’s self-confidence, independence & self-expression.
Ellie has completed residencies in Japan, the Netherlands, taken part in numerous exhibitions, taught BA Illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University & recently hosted an international conference “Only Connect!”, a community symposium about the benefits of creative intergenerational practice & research.
Ellie also works at Sensory Trust, as Project Officer on the Creative Spaces project. Here she facilitaties the running of 8 dementia-friendly nature based groups for people living with dementia & their carers, across Cornwall.
